i think the stress that our leaders put upon themselves to perform makes them have a problem with long-term decision making so that after a while their higher cognitive functions falter and eventually fail leading to problems. we are merely a budding nation always working so hard to run with the big-dogs and that speedy rise to power comes with consequences a.k.a. warcrimes or, every one of our wars O.O
