Talking Digital Calipers for Engineering Accessibility

A few months after we published our "Digital Calipers DRO" video, we received an e-mail asking if it would be possible to adapt the project to make talking calipers that read the value out loud over a set of speakers for a blind mechanical engineering student to use. Using the same techniques we used in our "Halloween Huffman-Coded Audio" video to store and playback audio from the microcontroller, we were able to build talking calipers for Terry to use in his job and his mechanical engineering studies. cause they are come from china , they are suport so many sample code(free suport ), so many online helper (free suport ), just only you buy the hardware , that is all , anything is free except the hardware . where is your advantage ..............?????

the way you are helping the blindman is good , but i can not found out any technology from your nerdkits , if i chose use another chips to instead your nerdkits resolution , it will be more cheap and more easy to make , and more smaller , can you tell me what is the advantage to let me chose your nerdkits ??????????
