Black Buck...10 Point Slug Gun Deer Kill - Nov 29th 2008

10 point 217 lb Buck I took on first day of Slug Gun season in Southern Maryland on the family farm Nov 29th 2008. 20 gage single shot break action shotgun with a Winchester Super X 3/4 ounce slug in and out, lung shot.

@bowhunter65ful Walmart buy! under $120 new. Very accurate/solid gun. Try Remmington 1oz rifled slugs or Winchester Super X 1oz slugs good buys to see which patterns/sight best from 25/50 yards. I dont shoot much pass 55 yards with single shot. Smooth bore barrel Improved cylander, will shoot 00 buck if in super thick hard woods. Get a slug sleeve for extra shells & quick reload if needed...hope this helps. Keep your head up on the job search my friend...Tough times dont last, tough people do!

eball5ooo, how's the accuracy with just the bead on the single shot? I've been unemployed since doomsday, and have to get something reasonable for deer. Any feedback would be appreciated.
