Alice in Chains - Put You Down cover

I posted this because the serious lack of covers of this awesome song. I might do some more covers if I get some comments. If you liked it post a comment with a title of a song and I might do it, some of my favorite bands are Pink Floyd, Maylene and the Sons of Disaster, Alice in Chains, Pearl Jam's first two albums, Red Hot Chili Peppers. Maybe some Soundgarden/Smashing Pumpkins/Stone Temple Pilot's first album.

Guitar:
Fender MIM Standard Strat with a SD SSL-5 in the bridge (Used in the video) and a SD Duckbucker in the middle. The neck pickup is stock.

Modified DS-1(Unknown mod)
Digitech Digidelay

Amp was a Fender Frontman 25R

Awesome playing, do you have 500k pots in this guitar or are you using the standard 250k pots, what do you think of the ssl-5 as a substitute for a hot rail cause I already have a strat with hot rails and I wanted to keep my new strat single coiled in style but to have just enough output for hard rock apps.

@beetlemaster07 Thanks! It's standard 250k pots. I love the SSL-5, I think it's the perfect bridge pickup in any strat.

I think your guitar is over-processed or something. It could be those damned annoying noise gates on your pedal. A stomp-box distortion will always be the best.

@SalandFindles Read the description, that's just a DS-1 and a little bit of Digidelay, no noise gate. It's probably something to do with how I recorded it.

just bought an ssl-5 it's nice to see someone use this pickup for something other than gilmour tones cause I wanted to know its limitation, thanks.
