@meinitaly1 crumb coating is not a receipe its a step in decorating a cake the fisrt thin layer of frosting

@meinitaly1 Crumb coating is just using frosting and adding a light layer to hold the crumbs in so the outer layer looks better

Horrible cake crumbing! Professionals usually use the piping technique and then smoothen it out with the spatula! Waste of time watching this!

How the hell can a Crisco-based frosting be called buttercream? The very thought is disgusting.

@meinitaly1 just search how to make buttercream i made some the other day and crumb coating is frosting the cake and letting it sit for a while so that when you go to frost it, it doesn't fall apart

@meinitaly1 Why don't you try searching "how to make buttercream" instead? Crumb coating is used as a verb so therefore there is no recipe for crumb coating. You use buttercream to crumb coat.
So many videos on the internet about putting the buttercream or crumb coating but NONE tell you the receipe for the buttercream or crumb coating!
