  • one of the best album openers of all time... agreed?

  • Thats a great analogy..I love sebadoh and enjoyed hums "iron clad lou" when it came out, heavy slow driving sounds, something the music of today is missing. Trail of Dead played this style, but recently seem to be playing less of this...hope they go back to that style again.

  • I saw these guys at the Triple Rock in Minneapolis, and Conrad said this was a Smiths cover...but he was also very drunk....and asked me if I was a teacher

  • The rolls are damn tricky haha I can barely play this song.

  • Hell yes!

  • yeah the album version is awesome..

I saw them in 2005 and they did a great version of it live then too..

I love the drumrolls in this song and the "chordage"

    :-)

  • not really a new band but i agree. sad thing is i doubt they will ever top this, which isnt an insult. this is one of the best alt rock albums ever made.

  • Let me hold you in my arms dear...I love the lyrics
