Last month, my niece and I hiked The Narrows. With water flow nearly double the norm, we were unable to leisurely take pictures and spend much time looking up and truly enjoy the stunning beauty! Thank you so much for this video. We also hit the trail at 6:30am and progressively arrived at each time point later than we should have. At 3:00pm we arrived at campsite #12 and decided to push on. We made it to Riverside trail just before dark at 8:00pm. It was a grueling but rewarding day!

@iskanderdumacedon By hiking i also mean including a few scenic breaks every 30-60 minutes or so

@iskanderdumacedon Yeah, we did take time to appreciate it. Everyone we talked to the day before told us that we should do it in 2 and that we'd really be cutting it close if we tried to do it in 1 day, so we hustled. We only had food and water; no camera gear or tent packs. Good video though.

Someone please answer me. When you hike the narrows, are you able to take the riverside trail to get there? And after the riverside trail ends, do you just walk along the river, or is there a trail that goes into the narrows?

@supercj8899 You literally just walk into the river after reaching the end of the Riverside Walk trail. There are a few stone steps at the end of the trail that lead down into the river. From there, you just walk upstream. I believe ou can go as far as the Springs without a permit.

can you do this hike with out a walking stick?

@UtahPropertyWatch I did it without one, since I had to haul my camera with me, but it would have been much easier if I had been able to use one. A good walking stick is a VERY helpful tool on this particular hike. Thanks for watching!

omg we did Angels Landing but didn't have time for the Narrows. Holy cow getting out at dark! I would be freaking out! Beautiful hike, thanks for sharing!
