  • @homerunhitter564 Depends on where the ball is hit and the situation, down the right field line, yes first base would cover, but in the right center gap, the SS or 2B would cut the throw.

  • @baseballplaya121 -.- Dude, I wasn't serious about SS being the cut.

  • @abalvarez not at all.... the only reason why jeter was even a part of that play was b/c he was playing heads up baseball. he had nothing to do with that play at all if the cuts were done right. he saw the play develop and saw that the throw was not going to reach posada at the plate.. so being the player that he was he go over to the spot to make the flip... if anything at most its the 2nd baseman and 1st baseman taking cuts from rf to homeplate for a ball in the corner on a double cut.

  • first base covers the cut from right and center not left at all

  • No no no. You're all wrong. It's the SS that's supposed to cut RF. Jeter proved that in 2001 to get out Jeremy Giambi. rofl haha

  • @breakdancer ur team must not be to good then haha

  • @breakdancer53 depends on where the ball lands in right field

  • first is always cut to home from center and right. I don't care what your travel coach says, he's wrong.

  • not on a throw home

  • from center to right field its the first baseman on a cut 4 and from left field the third baseman has the cut.
