Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa, New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg and Houston Mayor Annise Parker were among those who spoke at a press conference at the U.S. Conference of Mayors in Washington, D.C., on Jan. 20 where Freedom to Marry formally launched Mayors for the Freedom to Marry. Eighty mayors from across the country have thus far signed onto the effort. (Video by Michael K. Lavers)
