Although not all members are Christian (or religious), Samantha Escarbe has described herself has "Spiritual", and an Agnostic. In an interview with Deadtide.com, she goes on to say " We don't need religion based on man-made rules and regulations. We need spiritual truth."
Rowan London stated that "... we believe in God. As a more complex answer you need to talk for an hour to examine all the details."

This takes me back in 2007-2008 when I was far far away from home without friends without PC and I often (once a week) went to an internet cafe and watched Virgin black's videos including this one :))

Meaning, having no denomination in any church, they're not really a Christian band at all. And I hate when they're labeled as such

They're very unorthodox and have a lot of mistrust in the church. God is between you and god. No middle man. I think is how they see things.
