  • @ahmedrock125 That's no mistake. He's so raw that he literally smoked liquid whiskey.

  • @Aeonian199 Jack Daniels is not a whiskey, its a bourbon.Great song though I like it.I have no idea why it says whiskey on the bottle. Its not whiskey at all,its made a different way.And that is why it tastes nothing like whiskey.I know about these things,as I am Scottish.I have still been known,to hammer JD though.Been off it a while now though.

  • @Watersnake777 The only true whisky is Scottish.

  • @legandrydirk So it follows that Scotch, Canadian, or Irish are not whiskey? Jack Daniels and other whiskeys distilled in the Kentucky/Tennessee areas are called bourbons to identify the area of manufacture. If you want to be that strict about it, originally whiskey was distilled from rye or barley, so I suppose there are very few true whiskeys available.

  • 480p little better..

  • @oneal36 JD is charcoal mellowed too. Bourbon and whiskey is a vague distinction. All bourbon is whiskey but not all whiskey is bourbon. There are minor aging & ingredient rules which are required to make a bourbon and most bourbons are made in Kentucky. While results & tastes vary the distinction is half philosophical & half territorial.

  • Jack Daniels is a Tennessee Whiskey.. It is filtered through charcoal, versus Bourbon, which is aged in casks that have been burned inside..

  • being from Kentucky I damn well know Jack Daniels is not bourbon. It ain't bad though!

  • For any wondering this was done with Derrol Adams. Jack and his work together is great stuff

  • Scotch whisky(note spelling) must be distilled in Scotland and aged in Scotland in oak casks for at least 3 years. Dont know about this charcoal "ageing" of bourbon, isnt it charcoal filtering that it has to go through? Although there are no single American malts, there are some fine small batch bourbons out there....try Bookers Bourbon if you can find it, but go easy coz it packs a punch. I am also Scottish but I know a damned sight more about whisky and I still enjoy it.

  • if it get you "there" shut up!... anyone arguing the women part???

  • @legandrydirk "Jack Daniel's is not a bourbon - it's a Tennessee Whiskey" That is a quote from the Jack website. Do they not have google in Scotland? It has something to do with the charcoal. Apparently being Scottish isn't enough to ensure that you know everything about whiskies. Thanks for sharing though champ!
