  • @Sami7685 believe it or not a lot of people can do it (me being one of them) you have to be born with a sense of rhythm or its impossible but of course you could take a percussion class and learn it

  • As a person with no rhythm, I do not fundamentally understand how these guys can keep time with their own lightning-fast drum beats. AMAZING. :) I hope to visit the east coast and its history soon.

  • i love this music!

  • its very influenced by modern Pipes and drums music with lots of light and shade, also the grip is modern on the left hand as 18th cent use of the overhand grip was mor commmon.

  • bassler ( a swiss drumming style )

  • thts amazing

  • the old guard has evolved out of pure fifing and drum and as you can see here.....have a lot of modern influences. they remain true to their roots with tunes like yankee doodle, but they took full advantage of "the times" and pushed to the limit what can be done with 2 sticks on a flat surface! =) another cool thing about them is as difficult as the material gets, it never loses its groove and expression.

  • what style of rudimental drumming does the old guard play?

  • i love those drum rolls man they are AWESOME!!

  • Heh, those cheese's are nice:P
