@kaalnek im getting them from mcmurray hatchery, along with other breeds of chickens (Faverolles, lakenvelders,sussex ,etc.) after this year im going to order from another hatchery (ideal hatchery) cause they have more varieties of poultry than mcmuarry does.

@jpc002 Thanks! No crossing for these. It's a relatively new color in Wyandottes, people are still working on type. The color is not easy to make, needs all the genes for lacing plus genes for the deep red color and have to keep the Blue gene in the mix at all times. Quite a challenge..

very beautiful chickens! They have the ideal looks of Blue laced red's. i cannot wait till our Blue laced red's come in the mail some time in march!

@KillerPuffin Thanks! It is very hard to get BLRs with decent type, so am pretty happy with those birds. Where are you getting yours? This color is much more stunning in person.
