The best of BMW? That ain't no excuse. The specs on the B5 are nearly exactly the same as the Viper, but the BMW is a 4 door saloon. And i don't even wana talk about the weight difference... "its almost 1000 pounds". 500 horse power out of an 8.3??

@zelibober You're the one who's writing bullshit. An M5 is a four door saloon yes, and it is long, but it's practical while fast. And up until the last generation an E60 M5 generated as much power as an SRT10. Uncomfortable? Now that is bullshit, until you press any of the buttons to put it into sports mode it's as comfortable as luxury saloon. It doesn't matter if no one notices you, i'd see that as a plus point. They're better looking than Viper's anyway.

@MrORLY Stop writing this bullshit. I wasn't driving those cars on track just on streets, Viper feels better to me that is why i choose it. M5 is a 4 door sedan, long and very uncomfortable, as for sedan its good, as compared to Viper not even close. Sorry... And impression that those cars make on ppl, M5 - regular car when i came to local Starbucks no one even recognize that i change my car. On Viper ppl thumb me up even on freeway :)

@zelibober You've obviously never owned or driven an M car. Or an Alpina for that matter. While the majority of BMW's are business man cars. The special ones are truly something to behold.

Viper is a dream exotic car BMW is a business man car that looks regular, drive regular...(my opinion) I use to have BMWs and it feels nothing special but just a car. So i am sorry if your dream car is just nothing special to me. So what i can say, its the question of taste.

@zelibober All you have to do is google M5 G Power Hurricane RR and you get numerous sites listing the same FACTS I posted. Whereas you're saying this Hennessey Viper will do 275mph? When in the guiness book of world records the fastest car in the world is listed as the Veyron SS at 267 MPH. FACT. BMW has competed in numerous motorsports The V12 LMR won at Le Mans and the E30 M3 is listed as one of the most successful racing cars of all time. Get your facts right. Maybe then i'll pay attention.
