Dolma part 2 of 3 - Kussa (Stuffed vegetables with rice and ground beef) This is an excellent meal, which has so much flavor and truly is delicious. Its not that difficult to make, depending how many servings you are making. This is a traditional middle eastern Dolma recipe. You can stuff just about any vegetable including coring out large firm tomatoes and putting the filling inside and cooking the same way as well. Hope you try it, and let us know your comments.   • I learned this way of doing dolma while I was in Africa, I understand in middle east they don't use mint or parsley in dolma. It's all a matter of aquired taste.

  • love the way mariette "delivers" her cooking recipes-- meaning-- all of her very precise details and lil' explanations as to how and why she is using what she is cooking with... also, looove that accent of hers, as she just very nonchalantly goes on her way... demo'ing her skills!! ha! just makes you chuckle as you cook with her! sooo cool!! bravo!

  • to be more precise a bout the dolma's origin gose back to ottoman empire era possibly befor. the ward dolma in turkish means to (stuff) it could be stuffing chicken , vegi or lamb.
