love the way mariette "delivers" her cooking recipes-- meaning-- all of her very precise details and lil' explanations as to how and why she is using what she is cooking with... also, looove that accent of hers, as she just very nonchalantly goes on her way... demo'ing her skills!! ha! just makes you chuckle as you cook with her! sooo cool!! bravo!

to be more precise a bout the dolma's origin gose back to ottoman empire era possibly befor. the ward dolma in turkish means to (stuff) it could be stuffing chicken , vegi or lamb.
I learned how to cook this dish while I was in Africa.

what country is origin of this dish? because i am middle eastern and our dolma is different looks good either way

I learned this way of doing dolma while I was in Africa, I understand in middle east they don't use mint or parsley in dolma. It's all a matter of aquired taste.
