I thought the Chris Gaines alter ego was cool. Even the Album had nice songs on it. Sadly, Garth's country fans could not relate to this change due to their "percieved reality of him." It was only an imagenary ego...At least he tried, but, it was at the wrong time. Garth I like your courage, at least you tried...you got a new fan!

Thought the whole "Chris Gaines" album was fantastic - great band and vocals! Still listening to it after all these years.

Yeah must suck to be Garth Brooks, he only sold out his up coming Vegas stint in 5 minutes, is in the top 5 of all time album sales with The Beatles, Michael Jackson, Elvis etc. Has more money than you and I will ever dream of.
