she was definitely lip synching....she pre recorded it. It's not a huge deal, plenty of people do it. However, I think she should have done it live because she is so good live. Carrie Underwood sang it live at the 2010 super bowl and I'm sure Kelly Clarkson will have no problem doing it this year

my God people , have you ever messed up , im sure you have , i have , nobody is perfect people do mess up . yea it was the national anthem and its pretty bad but jeez is that reason to shoot her thru a hole . if it was you im sure you would just want everyone to be human about it . not keep talking about it and bagging on you so plz just leave her alone .

This is the only way The National Anthem should be delivered. Not with a bunch of unnecessary runs, rifs & other vocal gymnastics. She sang it very well & looked amazing singing it. PERFECT DRESS for the occasion.
