Even though it wasn't originally written about it, I think this song represents the problem of homophobia and transphobia well.

@unclecreepy66 Yeah man I dig it. Universal equality over unity
-
@CakeMuscles where as the LOC crew r a bunch of junkies an squatters. can u dig it?
-
@CakeMuscles nah son im guessing hes talkin bout Lars and the gang rollin with skinhead crews an whatnot. just a guess. but i know for a fact alot of the dudes in the rancid crew are fag bashers n shyte, also lars and the boys r down with DMS. lots of multiracial dudes in that crew but still an intolerant bunch as a whole. hence the anti racist but then your anti gay.

@jamacaman14 I think LoC was talking about your everyday average rudeboy, not op ivy
-
@Cheezypoof30 Punk is third-wave ska without horns, and third-wave ska is punk with horns. The horns make all the difference.

@jamacaman14 I'm pretty sure they're trying to remark on how some people view unity as a race-only thing and not an all-inclusive way of being, despite the fact that that's clearly hypocritical. The main point of that particular bit is to bring to attention that unity, as a whole, is not only about race; it's about a unified humanity regardless of whether they're gay, straight, black or white.

Im pretty sure he's not saying "Brothers tonight"

@jasonman05 I have heard that one. What was Loc talking about, I mean who are they accusing of homophobes? Is Loc hating on tim mat and lars? Or are they hating on the sene/click of people that are anti gay?
Anyways I listened to it and thought wow it is just as good as operation ivy. Loc is truly great. So is operation ivy and rancid.

@jamacaman14 I hate Rancid, they sound so commercial and they're not about Punk. Even since the Clash back inthe 70s punk has been about anti-fascist anti-bigot behaviors so how the fuck can a Skunx member meet those standards?

@FluffyLizards I will say rancid has probably gained popularity became mainstream and somewhat celebrities. But who would turn down positive gains in life. They have been doing what they love all their life and I guess as Tim says keeping true to yourself. They have become a big celeb band but they have been the underdog most all their life and are now older and maybe wiser. I do not know fascism, bigot, and skunx all that well but "rancid" as we knew them... Dead. They are older wiser, changed.
