Thanks for that, yes using this type of diff for the rear drive makes it simple. Problem is the parts to do it are not cheap ( In the UK ) I will try two part expoxy, its the cheaper option. Thanks for the ideas anyway.

@paulregret53 Thanks! I actually bought a gear diff for the rear also to easily lock it and unlock it. To lock the ball diff you can either make it tighter or you can permantly lock it with epoxy or something like it. I would buy another gear diff for the rear.

@MCgangsta11 any type of epoxy you would get from a hardware store will be fine, but remember it is permanent.

whats putty??? i have a rc 1/6 truck im turnning into hobby grade rc and need the rear lock how do i do the?? is there grease i can used???

@MCgangsta11 This video i filmed was only for the tamiya ta02. you can' use grease but you can fill the diff with epoxy if you want to lock it permanently.

Doensn't it make the car tremble at high rpms? because doing it this way will cause the weight to be bad distributed.
