ANCIENT HOPLITIKON PAKO FESTIVAL 2007 Swordsmanship display

In Feb 2007 the Ancient Hoplitikon of Melbourne participated in the Multi-Culturally acclaimed "PAKO Festival". Our presents in the parade drew favourable interest and curiousity from the public. Our display of swordsmanship for public viewing was short but brief, we weren't promoting a "Fight Club" mentality. Due to public safety our swordsmanship was toned down, however, what was on display had an element of entertainment for onlookers. We hope you enjoy this footage ?

well done guys, you all look really good and if im ever down that way i'ld love to come to a display or training session. I have one curious question though, why wasn't the shield used at all during the combat display ???

@Arkapok81 the simple reason is, it gets very expensive to keep making up new shields! For eg. if you bought a Ferrari, and if you were stupid enough to drive it into a wall, 'would you?'
