9th colossus - Shadow of the Colossus in HD 1080p with pcsx2 + cutscene after

This one was the hardest to compose to be interresting... After all i'm not just rying to make somekinda raw, plain, uninteresting walkthrough. I'm trying to show the colossi in HD as much as I can...

Watch in 1080p please, but if it doesn't play 100% smooth in 1080p for you, then try 720p instead.

Shadow of the Colossus rednered @ 2560 x 1792 and cpatured in 1080p HD. Framerate markedly better than on a real ps2.

What is your hardware specs? I'm guessing you have an intel core i7, I can only get this game running on native with 15-20fps on my dinky intel core 2 duo.

Cores aren't gonna help you with pcsx2. A core i7 and a dual core running at the same mHz is not gonna make a difference. You just need more and more mhz. Try to overclock if you'd like. Try to reach as high as you can safely acheive. I managed to get to 4.24 Ghz on air cooling. And it's still not wnough for full speed sometimes. So evrey cycle is used...

@INNUENDO88 whats the average fps that the game gets? Cause I can get 70 fps on my i5 and the framerate still looks pretty crappy

@LoboFan1000 That "fps" counter in the title bar is FALESLY called fps. It doesn't inform you about the framerate of the game, rather the speed of the emulation. It should rather be a percentage or something. In either way, it shoud NOT be more than 60. 70 is like fast-forwarding. You disabled frame limiting. Enable it.

The actual framerate of the game depends on how much of the VU and EE cycle speedhacks you use. The less you use of those, the better the framerate will be. Try it.

This Colossi was damn frustrating that I end up watching this walkthru just to get past him. This Colossi is not "hard" but really frustrating with the timing with the water fountain, also a bit confusing where the weakspot is first time playing.

Absolutely hated this guy, such a pain in the ass to kill. He was a thousand times harder than the last colossus or in fact any of the other colossi.

My absolute favorite of all the colossi because of how scary it is at the beginning and how epic it gets when you get on its back.
