can you put big lenses on the camera?
-
@GanEdenAustralia obviously, since he's a fairy tale.
-
@XxELiTeGLiTcHeRsxX because the hv20 shoots hd just fine and it's far cheaper than buying a rig from the name brand companies. Spend a good 1-2K on your own lenses and attachments or spend 2K on a camera and another 2K on the rig.

nice video man, how much did all this cost?
-
this is madness

@nuahsx Sorry, God doesn't have a mother.

where did you get your viewfinder atachment?? :O i want one really bad
stanlymanly2 1 year ago
@stanlymanly2 I built the viewfinder frame and used a Panasonic Pro camera eyepiece that I had. The viewfinder simply has a mirror to invert the image and that's it. It's attached to the camera with a light aluminum bracket attache to the camera via the tripod screw.

how is your monitor mounted on your rig
toms900 2 years ago
The monitor is mounted on the camera shoe, using a Varizoom monitor mount, which is a little ball head that sells for about $20.00. The monitor has a 1/4 20 threaded opening and the ball head is screwed on. The ball head has the shoe mount on the end hich goes onto the camera shoe.

Where did you get that add on viewfinder and how does it connect? What is it called? I am looking for one for my rig for my camera that lacks a viewfinder at all, but only has an LCD screen.

I built the viewfinder and it slides into the scrteen frame when the screen is facing up, then there's a mirror looking at the screen and then the eye piece looking at the mirror, and that's what you see. The image is right side up, but not left to right. It's veryu difficult to explain..
