Ustad Ali Akbar Khan: Tribute By Zakir Hussain

Ustad Ali Akbar Khan, the well-known sarode maestro passed away on June 18, 2009 at his San Anselmo home, near San Francisco.

At his memorial service held in San Rafael Ustad Zakir Hussain spoke to us about Ustad Ali Akbar Khan. When Zakir ji first came to the USA, he worked at Khan sahib's Ali Akbar College of Music in San Rafael, California.
