St. Ann's Church Arts and Cultural Center Investigation Part 1

On November 13th of 2009, John Hardy and Fran Ford of Price Paranormal and Echoes Paranormal had the honor and pleasure of being invited to join Charles Reis and Stephen Moreau (ninjacthulhu here on You Tube) of Creepy Places of New England and the Paranormal Investigation Team of URIGHT(University of RI Ghost Hunting Team, headed by Adam Braga and Charles Reis) on an investigation of St Ann's Church in Woonsocket, RI, now known as The St Ann Arts and Cultural Center (SAA&CC).

St Ann's Church is a fascinating location with an amazing history and we felt very fortunate to have been invited to join in on the investigation of this remarkable place.

The size of this architectural gem is overshadowed only by it's interior and exterior beauty which are plain to see from the moment you pull up outside and step inside it's doors.

St Ann's is noted as being the home of the largest collection of fresco paintings in North America. Also noted by art critics as rivaling if not surpassing those found in The Sistine Chapel. Any description I try to give here would not do this gorgeous cathedral justice. It simply has to be seen to be fully appreciated and believed.

We were asked to investigate SAA&CC due to some activity possibly paranormal in nature that it's owners, volunteers and board members have experienced since day one of their residence there. There's been so much activity noted that they all felt it could no longer be ignored or brushed aside.

The shear size of the building warranted a large group of investigators to cover it as thoroughly as possible.

SAA&CC did not fail to deliver and nearly every single one of the investigators present on this night had personal experiences which were then backed up with the evidence we all collected and reviewed. Hundreds of EVPs were recorded by Price Paranormal alone!

SAA&CC offers many ways for you to experience this architectural masterpiece and it's vibrant and jaw dropping works of art. A camera is a must when you visit, but might we suggest that you bring a recorder with you as well. Who knows, you may just end up having your own paranormal experience while there.

To find out more about SAA&CC, tours and schedule of events, please visit their website: http://stannartsctr.org/default.aspx

And if you feel inspired and inclined to help preserve this historical location please make a donation. The upkeep of SAA&CC is astronomical and any donation at all will be greatly appreciated.

UPDATE!!
We were fortunate to be invited back to investigate SAA&CC and did just that on the night of Sat. May 8th, 2010. Along with Steve Moreau who served as Case Manager, those included in this investigation were Charles Reis, Adam Braga and members of URIGHT, John Hardy and Fran Ford of Price Paranormal/ECHOES Paranormal, the owner of SAA&CC, it's Director and various esteemed board members. We wish to take the time to thank Dominique, Walter and all the wonderful volunteers for not only allowing us the opportunity to literally crawl deep into the nooks and crannies of this truly amazing location, but for joining us as we did so. We hope you had as much fun as we did.

  • The church is beautiful. I wonder why is it always a church, hospitals, prisons, and even schools always seem to have the most highest activity reported?

  • i know wer that church is i pass it like all the time

  • this serious of video's are really good, im watching them again, at least after being viewed the noice making person must of felt worst so no need to say what he must have said to themselves already, still great vid, we're human, stuff happens. I love churches, good idea investigation one with such a history. Prabably much more informative then a prison or a delapidated building where mentally insane died. don't you think. I'd like to see more churches (old churches) being done

  • Great intro with narration John, it`s a pity some ignorant person was making a racket during the background history that was being given.
