This is the second installment for learning Japanese. Right now Im just going over some of the basics of grammar in teaching you your first sentence and also how to make questions. Yay sounds like alot but its really easy. So notes ill write here:

Inu = Dog
Neko = Cat
Enpitsu = Pencil
Ringo = Apple
Ichigo = Strawberry

Making a sentence is really easy for the basic sentences its just: ____ desu.

so that is Person/Object + desu.
Simple enough isnt it. and it means: It is a _______.

Inu desu. = It's a dog.
Neko desu. It's a cat.

Part 2.

Making a question is easy in Japanese you just add 'ka' to the end of any sentence to make it a question. So lets take our newly learned sentence

Inu desu = Inu desu ka?
Its a dog. = Is it a dog?

So yea you get the jist of it I hope. Any questions please post em to me and ill get back to you asap. Gl learning it and have a good day XD

  • I Didn't really know what desu meant o.o i knew when to use it, but didn't know what it translated into. ^^ Domo arigatou.

    I already knew neko, inu, and ka though xD that's kinda basic.

    UPLOAD MORE! :D

  • Its very nice to see someone doing this! But its all WRONG! Well the way you pronounce Japanese, which is the basics of learning any language, and you might be shagging people up! a - "Aww" e - 'A" i - "E" o - 'O' u - "Eww" So Inu (Dog) is pronounced 'E-New' not "In-Eww" Cat is 'Naa-Koo' not "Knee -Koo" Oh my, so much wrong here. Your pronouncing it as if it were Enlish, yet it is spelled right as if it were English, the spelling is correct, but now you have to have the right pronunciation.
