Track taken from the original 4 Track 1992 Release by Faze-2.

This is off the 'A Trip To Trumpton' cd single what i recently picked up at a carboot sale.

Nice old hardcore track, little bit on the commercial side like Prodigy/Smart-E's but you can't argue over these great tunes.

Old School Hardcore, Rave, Illegal Rave, Jungle, Hardcore, Old Skool, Raving, happy hardcore, hardcore.

(old report)
In the UK in the early 1990s it became popular for a short while to release dance music tracks based on children's TV programmes/educational adverts. The Prodigy released the track Charly in 1991 which was then promptly followed in 1992 by Sesame's Treet by the Smart E's and A Trip to Trumpton by Urban Hype which was based on the original Trumpton music by Freddie Phillips with heavy use of Trumpton samples such as Time for Trumpton, Pugh, Pugh, Barney McGrew, Cuthbert, Dibble & Grubb!

  • Choon with a Capital C!

  • yeah, a cracking B-side... always good for a nice slice of love decade. although, it will always live in the shadow of the prodigy's "your love" as the best rave B-side ever.

  • I cleaned my car and found my old urban hype album on tape.

As soon as i find a tape walkman, this beast is going back where it belongs. I only stopped playing it cos i changed my tape player to a cd. With a bit of radio transmitting i can listen to it again.

The 90's are back and they're in my car :)

  • Happy Days !!!

  • @beastie666 - I'm with you there man. I used to go raving at Berwick Manor in Rainham, Essex (dunno if you ever heard of it). Being in Essex, the same place The Prodigy are from, a lot of their tunes got played long before they were even aired on the pirates. 'Your Love' was and always will be such a classic tune. The place used to go absolutely mental when they dropped that tune. Even people who would normally act 'too hard to dance' would start giving it some. Nice!

  • As a 12 year old I listened to this everyday for a period of 6 months on my Sony tape walkman! Absolute classic!

  • Thats a proper tune id be well proud if i made dat...

  • Anyone know where the first loop is sampled from? DJ Shadow sampled the same song, it's sped up quite a bit in this.

  • this could of been a single (with a bit of tweaking) never mind a b-side!! quality!

  • This was my favourite song as a young teenager. The bit with the spinback where the lead synth kicks in is amazing, and then that beat! I was such an Urban Hype fan. Had the album, the singles. I even bought Game of Love and that was AWFUL.

  • The B side of Trumpton rocked; it was played everywhere that was anywhere! Wicked piano :-)
