DIY-Dream It Yourself -is Gibraltar Hardware's online community where music dealers, artists, manufacturers and musicians interact to learn and be inspired to find new ways to customize their drum sets. Many drummers don't realize that they have the ability to customize their current drum set: they think stock is the only option. DIY helps drummers understand that Gibraltar is not another commodity of stock hardware, but a unique, customizable and differentiated product that gives the drummer nothing but options to customize their existing drum set. This program offers a new approach to engage drummers to talk about drum hardware, drum rack options and customization — what it can do for you and what you can do with the hardware to fit your unique image and playing style.

Yes. The best way to do this is to post your photo(s) on our Facebook page. You can find the link on our channel page or just search Gibraltar Hardware on FB. Please reference this discussion so we don't miss it. Thanks!

Question: Not looking to build a rack, but looking to free up some floor space. Is there a way to attach a rack bar to a cymbal stand (being the center point) and mount stands off of that to the side? OR Is there a way to mount a rack bar between 2 cymbal stands for the same purpose? Thanks Brent!

I think a rack looks really cool, but not for me.Besides the price what holds me back is packing away all that rack. All my cymbal stands,hi hat stand, snare stand, throne (all Gibraltar,BTW,love your hardware)and double pedals pack away in 2 plastic foot lockers with wheels that I can easily lift one at a time. One big case was too heavy. If I bought a rack I'd have to have yet another thing to lug around in exchange for four less tripod legs.
