It's harvest time for some tomatoes here and I thought I would show you what tomato production is like with highs in the mid 90s and lows in the 70s.

  • Pretty good victory over the heat! hopefully the weather changes here in California will help mine. Its pretty warm in the day, but the nights are a bit chilly. I hear they need cooler nights to grow and set fruit? Always trying to learn more.

    Most books on the subject will say that highs above 90 and lows below 55 or higher than 74 will cause fruit not to set, but I have fruit and new fruit setting and the highs here have been around 95 every day with lows around 77, but I have used shade to may advantage.
