Brent is a seasoned information technology executive, an author and visionary entrepreneur.

As a young boy he longed for peace... somehow knowing that it must start within oneself, one's home and family, one's community, one's country and then throughout the world. Being born into a multi-cultural and multi-religious family had its high points as well as its challenges. Brent is part Muslim, part Jewish and was raised as a Christian. As a middle child, the role of Switzerland, of peacekeeper, was more than often his.

Brent's father became a seeker and insisted that all three children experience Transcendental Meditation when Brent was 12 years old, and he has been meditating daily since then. This was a gift that would stay with Brent throughout his life and it has been invaluable for him personally and professionally.

Brent learned universal laws and quickly put them to use. He became a visionary expert in all things on which he placed his attention. One of his first goals was to move through the Boy Scout organization, and at the very impressive age of 15 he earned the highest honor of Eagle Scout. He excelled in academics and technical achievements.

Brent began his spiritual journey through books and other means including his active intention of creating a life of non-attachment and adopting the parts that spoke to him from nearly all world religions and cultures. Traveling added to his connection to the Divine and awakening experiences throughout the U.S., Turkey, Germany, Mexico, Canada and India where he traveled with a Lama with whom he had been studying.

Brent nearly lost his life as the result of a very serious skiing accident while in high school. He spent two weeks in intensive care and recalls how one special angel in the form of a surgeon made the difference by insisting that a procedure could be done to save Brent even though it had not been tried before.

By the time he was in college Brent had already started many businesses all with the unifying theme of filling an important need with his inventive mind and determined discipline and follow through. He ran one business during his undergraduate studies where he designed, manufactured and sold a line of digital Input/Output interface products for computers worldwide via mail order magazine sales.

In 1994, Brent conceived, produced and directed the first all-inclusive World Community in cyberspace, The Park (a community of 700,000+ members worldwide). He is now recognized as being the grandfather of today's modern social networking sites; online communities are now commonly known as social networks or social media sites.

Brent spearheaded the multi-faceted peace and change project entitled The Rainbow Bridge which bridges the gap between the old world of hatred, war, violence, fear, greed and scarcity to the new world reality of inner peace, world peace, reconciliation, collaboration, partnership and harmony among all races, religions and institutions.

Among the many elements of The Rainbow Bridge are the first two editions of the book he authored by the same name, with the third edition about to be published. It illuminates the common ground and universal truths within the world's major religions. The second edition has been translated into 23 languages. A prototype of a Rainbow Bridge board game has also been created.

Prior to creating The Park, Brent served as technical consultant for Electronic Commerce leader GE Information Services and completed the fast-track Information Systems Management Program within GE Aerospace. While working at GE, Brent earned a graduate degree in Counseling and Human Relations, and subsequently became a psychotherapist at night while holding down his full-time job at GE. Shortly thereafter, he completed his first book titled The Pieces of Our Puzzle, which provides a holistic synthesis of the world's major schools of psychology. After creating The Park, he authored his third book The Grandfather of Social Networks: The Park Odyssey.

Each breath, each meditation and each new day add to Brent's integrated spirituality which form the firm foundation for each venture he conceives and infuses with his energy. From The Park where "One People, One Planet, One Community" served as his tag line, to The Rainbow Bridge which bridges to peace across all cultures, religions and institutions, it is quite clear that the world has not been the same since Brent Hunter has arrived to be such an important agent of change and it is also clear that he's only just begun.
