  • When you have a song and performance this great you don't need embellishment. Simple is often best. You have a lot to learn. You don't add things because you can.

Take a look at the official video release of, "Brilliant Disguise." One shot, one camera, no cuts. Simple, and simply brilliant.

  • Gosh people were pretty critical of this one. I thought it was great, each of his works is an individual masterpiece. . but who shot this???

  • All good and well, but somebody stole my yellow bag with books!!! Probably some whore in summer's clothes, lusting after my Herman Brusselmans book 'Mank'. It was signed, so I expect it back. Same goes for the other books (Dylan's, Pete Thingy - 'Brotherly Love', etc)

    Fuck. Whole day ruined.

Guido (Still going to NJ though!)

  • These false hair he's using and trying to look like johnny cash... bruce bruce... what's your intention

  • Gotta love all that smoke. What a stupid friken idea for a video shoot. How does Bruce sell himself so short on this one?

  • Hey-somebody call the cops! The Boss is walking on the dunes...once again rock and roll laughs in the face of the law.

  • Nice footage, I do like the video, but as many have said it is pretty basic, as a video tech director there are alot of other things I would of done, perhaps more shots of a main street usa or something, the whole beach thing is getting old, but only he could get away with it.

  • What a great place to shoot a video!! That's Ocean Grove, NJ just across the (small) lake from Asbury Park. Ocean Grove is very picturesque, very spiritual town. We have a picture of the beach & shoreline hanging in our living room, taken from the pier in the backgound, blown up to 26x30 size. Gorgeous place, good choice Bruce!
