Fascinating. I believe Harry Smith moved from CBS to NBC in response to Norah O'Donnell's move from NBC to CBS.

Harry Smith is no hack. He's probably one of the only smart reporters left, and certainly CBS doesn't have much outside of 60 minutes.

Why did they get rid of him at CBS? He is one of the few anchors that seem very credible.
