Just incredible. I was lucky enough to hear and love these guys from the beginning. I will never understand(or forgive) the fact that the world didn't properly embrace their genius. With respect to Queen, Jellyfish were always able to perfectly reproduce their music live. That makes them different. They were just magic, perfect. Take influence from The Who and Queen and make something special. SO special, but also be able to perform it, perfectly 'live'.Just wonderful.

I cant believe I've never heard of this band once in my life up until 3 days ago...and I'm 29 years old!! They are shredding every concept of music I've ever believed in into pieces! I love it!

I've got to agree with you all!!! They are probably THE most overlooked band of the 90's. Everyone I turn them on to loves their music. If I were stranded on an island and could only take 5 albums with me, Bellybutton & Spilt Milk would be must haves. Everytime you listen you hear someting new. So many layers... Absolutely INCREDIBLE!!!!!

Jellyfish were an amazing band! Yet, timing and misfortune had a lot to do with their downfall. In 1990, music was transitioning from hair metal and synth pop, yet the wave of grunge was about to overwhelm the industry. In addition, when MTV played their material, they were touring in Europe, so they couldn't strike the iron when it was hot. A brilliant band, and when I hear these performances, they always bring a smile to my face.

I am not over-estimating when I say that Jellyfish is one of the best, if not the best live performers in modern music.

They sound like the Beatles, Queen, and the Beach Boys poured into a blender with the result better than the individual ingredients!!!
Wish they would get back together.

Absolutely amazing! Jellyfish is the most overlooked band in rock history. If Spilt Milk had been put out by Queen itb would have been considered a rock masterpiece. As far as I am concerned Bellybutton and Spilt Milk are masterpieces.

Spilt Milk is literally the greatest LP ever recorded. Hands down. That's insane to say given all the amazing bands that come to mind when one says that, but think about; Jellyfish just outdid everyone on that record. It's not even music, it's like an experience or something. At the risk of starting sound even more pretentious, I'll just end my post here.
