I'll be very honest, I don't really know how either of the two versions sound like in its entirety.
I've listened to them both, just not extensively since I first learned this song through a friend, and subsequently, made a cover of it haha (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ifZvkdKzIXA)

This is my interpretation of the song, I've made slight changes in the song lyrics (I don't know.. my version, my rules hah!)
I also know that I don't have a great voice or guitar skills, hey I'm not perfect oh well ;P
