Luxembourg City, Luxembourg -- A Visual Tour

I went to Luxembourg in 2000, I think. This video is a few years old and shows the eastern part of Luxembourg City down in the valley. I love this place, it's expensive and the people aren't as friendly as the Dutch, but being in Luxembourg City is like being in a spy-thriller or a fairy-tale. The place is loaded with history and every turn is a new view of something spectacular.

i live in america and i think i have ancestry from lux. but im also half mexican so nobody would ever think that from lookin at me. i wish i could go find my relatives, and maxling6, trust me living in the US isnt as good as it sounds. i wish i lived in europe

@pat1981lux Luxembourg is too small to have a subway, it only has 100000 people.

There are in rich countries, cities of more than 3000000 people that have no subways.

I live in Luxembourg, it's a crazy country, where a lot of extremes come together.

People from all nationalities live here, it's easy to listen to foreign languages when you walk by. We have a king that as not much political power. People are friendly and go out a lot. It's has a big standard of life, quite like Monaco, but bigger country. On the other side, don't have parties later than 3 o'clock, at 6 PM streets are empty and shops are closed. It's super country to earn money, but not to live.

I live in Luxembourg ( mamer) and it's one of the most boring countries I have ever lived in... Only good thing is the high income, but this will soon change...

There ist no subway because the city is build on a rock, you can't dig tubes

these pictures only show the calm and quiet part of the city, especially Grund and Clausen. But if you look at the rest of the city, it is horrible! Almost permnent traffic james, very expensivce parkings, public transport is a failure! they only have busses. that's all!! no subways or anything like this. it is a nightmare to live in luxembourg-city
