Thx I am so going to snip it

@scifinds So if an item is listed at $50 dollars, I snipe at 5 second $60, do I have to pay $60 or $50,50? And if a person snipes at 10 seconds 55 dollars, do I have to pay 60 dollars or 55.50? Thank you

Thanks you so much! I won the item I wanted by snipping at 5 sec. :D

isn't 4 seconds too risky tho?
I thought around the 15 second mark was the safe approach.

The reason is because the person before had a higher bid placed already. When you bid even if you bid $100 on an item that is currently listed at say $10 it will only go to the next highest increment, in that case $10.50. Then if another person bids $50 expecting it to only jump to $11 they will be surprised to see when it instantly rises to $51. A bid is already secretly in place for $100, the bid for $50 comes in, the eBay system instantly takes the next highest amount above the bid.
