The resonant head is mid to high tension all the time.

with Shure X2U adapter directly to USB laptop port.

There are no effects or EQ!

This is the most versatile drum I have ever played. No problem to obtain warm, full,
fat sound of 70's and 80's (my favourite sound) and sharp, ringy and loud high shots.
