Yeah, it is crappy, but give them a little more time... and yes, all of their products come bundled with bloatware that totally sucks, their drivers are not so bad.
Plus this is more ZiiLabs more than it is Creative, the brand is another name you need to mention and another story (persons involved), they evolued appart from Creative for a long time before fusing.

@candywrapp You could be right. There's an engadget article that talks about KIRFers... "keepin' it real fake" devices that are just rebranded or are knock offs. The notion is associated w/ the Zii - selling them to a demanding chinese market. Hopefully not just that though. Creative has been selling those types of devices for a while now - very like them to better their own lineup ya know?

Relax.. that firmware came out less than a month ago, Zii won't be coming out until sometime next year...the hardware inside that thing is terrific and robust - the glass is half full!!! Btw, my Creative software/drivers for the X-Fi Titanium are solid and sweet sounding... Why the hate??

camera's so crappy, creative is famous for making crappy drivers/software. I'm not putting too much hope and counting on the firmware to be perfect.

This looks very choppy and compressed. I'm a fan of the Vado HD, I hope they can do something similar with the EGG.

Could you tell how the color reproduction looks like? Looking at the video, its pretty nice and more realistic than others. But you would know better as youre rite there.
Also, any idea on the angle of view ?
Seems pretty decent. Not in HD yet ?
