GROSMONT MORNING 11/8/2007

On my way to Saltburn I called in briefly at Grosmont sheds, hoping to see the 'Q6'. Sadly the footpath round to the NELPG shed was closed due to work on the wheel-drop.

At the station I witnessed the 'B1' 61264 and the class '37' D6700 preparing for the first two trains to Pickering.

Roger Barker informed me that the 'A4' had a problem with water being carried over into the vacuum ejector and was temporarily unavailable (he can just be heard in the background singing "Oh Gresley she is broken")

After the departure of the first train at 09:50 I headed north to video the fifteen inch steam at Saltburn-by-the-Sea.
