Who is Pearl Friday? Pearl Friday is a former magic dove, who was adopted by rock'n'roll ventriloquist Carla Rhodes!

What is a "bow coo"?

According to pet-doves.com, it tis "Usually preceded by a challenge laugh, a charge and raised feathers on the back and neck. The Bow and Coo is a declaration of intent from a senior ranking male dove declaring to an intruding male dove that he is trespassing in his territory. The Bow & Coo is telling the intruder to either withdraw or bend down and submit to being mounted by the senior male dove."

Um... Senior ranking male dove? Pearl is a girl (and a secretary no less!), so perhaps she's listening to too much David Bowie and experimenting?

Pet-doves.com also declares, "Adult females rarely ever Bow and Coo. Out of 200 doves, I only have two females which has performed this behavior and even then it was a rare, out of the ordinary action."

Pearl Friday truly is a rare bird!
