  • Another bash the South video. I suggest you google race riots in america in the last 30 years and see where they took place. Here's a hint: none in the South (there was one in Miami but I don't think anyone would consider Miami the South.) The South isn't perfect now but things have changed in the last 150 years. Maybe if people focused on that instead of the past things might get better.

  • Historical fact from the North... Only one side... Once you've listened and read both sides, then make a video...

  • find some statements made by lincoln..most are far worse than that..with the exeption of a few debates when he opposed legalizing slavery in kansas for fear black people would spread in to the west.. also, jefferson davis (confederate president) had a 7 yr old adopted son who had been abused who was free a citizen and educated..its more complicated than our history teachers have taught us.also general robert e lee freed his before the war..grant didnt give his up until after it was abolished

  • Believe none of what you hear, half of what you read, and none of what you are show'n.

  • Why do you think people join the millitary today if not to improve thier social standing. I joined for the signing bonus and money for college. Do you think most of our soldiers are in because they believe in the just cause. Look into things a little further before you speak you will apear smarter. As far as hating what became know as the confederate flag instead of the more carried bonne blue with it's white star or the palm and cresent moon. History is wrote by the victor search for the truth

  • @mrdixielove

That's the truth, I have native ancestors as well as Irish and Cajun, we were noting to the IS government, I dont hate the US flag but as I get older I realize that my education was lacking. My ancestor fought for HONOR not slaves, some did leave the union for slavery bur the US had worse offences, most left for self determination

  • Because you know, our government is just SO trustworthy... Also, it was the United States flag thy used when thy slaughtered my Cherokee ancestors. So don't You think people take offense to THAT flag? I would like to hear your response.

  • I fly a battle flag and I know it doesn't stand for slavery any more than the united states flag did at one time. After all, that is why we seceded from England, taxes and a threat to end slavery in the colonies. Also, Alexander's thoughts on the Confederacy did not reflect EVERYONE's thoughts, and I wouldn't be surprised if that speech was tampered with. You should look up the things "Honest Abe" said about blacks. Why would you listen to the government when they try to ruin a good symbol? Bec

i dont think youll find a post i made here condoning slavery. what you do is spout incoherent bs when you see someone whos proud of his southern heritage which like the north once supoprted the evil of slavery. you say i would not want it for me, well that is true. the thing is i dont want it for you either. i could sit and quote this statistic or that one but in the end all youll do is say "slavery" and that should end all discussion by your reasoning.

  • @hieronomy Black americans owned slaves too. You are thinking about it from a very modern prospective. 100 years ago, women were their husbands property and raping them wasn't against the law. There were no child protection laws and children were treated as property so there was no DCF or Child Welfare services (there was but nothing like today) I'm telling you to put yourself in another time.Put yourself in a time where our social ideals were being formed and science was a lie.

  • @PhantomLyric

Tell me , how is one a " great person " who would own another human being ? Were the ppl who buried the

three civil rights workers in a dam in 1964 , great ? Being , more or less , from that era and area , I claim

you don't know your 25 y/o ass from a hole in the ground . Smooth operator is no substitute for brains kemosabe.

  • @hieronomy What in the hell are you talking about you idiot? If you you read what I said, your comment would have been unwarranted. Someone talkined about a slave being adopted. If that's what you're referring to read what I said, dip shit. LIKE I SAID, in re: to ANLYZTHT question, "How does one adopt a slave," instead of viewing it as adopting a person against their will... think of it as a humanitarian act. They saved these people from hardship! They didn't BRING THEM OVER, dumb ass....
