I like Tea. But, I have to agree w/ what Cassie said to Tea. Blair lost her custody battle b/c of trickery pulled by Tea when harassing her. That was beyond the job. Blair was not an unfit mother. In fact, Todd gave Starr back to Blair when he no longer wanted to play the games to punish Blair & keep custody of Starr. Tea walked out on Starr at that time, also. Plus, Tea is not virginal or innocent. She, as a married woman, slept w/Andrew, the priest--after Todd continually refused sex w/Tea.

@sheashond I agree. 1st: Blair is not to blame for Todd's emotional, sexual, or other problems w/Tea. He is a grown man & is responsible for his life & problems. 2nd: IMO, he didn't love Tea romantically. And he could never stop being in-love w/Blair. That's the root of why T&T could NOT work. 3rd: Your insight as a man does matter. Some women see Todd like a pseudo-man, who doesn't have real male needs. His male need for true love & sexual intimacy was important. He had that w/Blair.

@twbaldwi I recently watched Todd's sl this past summer and no I'm not an expert on all of the characters I'm not that old. No I don't think that just because you are a man that would give you more insight on Todd especially if you're not aware of his entire story and what the character has had to go through to get him at the point he is once Tea comes along. Todd does have a obsession/possession especially with the women he chooses you can see that with both Rebecca and T. Beginingwas a psycho.

@twbaldwi I'm sorry for the delay in responding. I've been traveling a lot for my job & have been swamped. I haven't even been on Youtube or watched OLTL for a couple of months. My shorthand answer is: You & I see things differently--probably b/c of our varied backgrounds. You are more of a OLTL expert & probably know all the scenes & characters. I only started watching soaps in April 2011. That's when I first heard of RH. But, as a man, I might have a valid insight into Todd. Agreed?

@sheashond I don't agree Todd does not have the highest of confidence he's only been married to these two women after TEA LEFT TODD of course he came back to Blair. It was familiar, it was simple, he didn't have a pure image of Blair any longer it was an illusion, she was the mother of his kids, it was safe to dive into her much like an alcoholic dives into a bottle, he loves her and of course the illusion of the perfect her that doesn't exist it was easier to pretend especially for the kids.

@twbaldwi Todd cared about Tea, but didn't make love w/her because deep down it didn't feel right to him. I believe it was because his love for her was platonic. Blair shouldn't be blaimed. Later, in 2000, Todd still refused lovemaking w/Tea. But, he eagerly & successfully (based on TnB bragging about his talents) made love w/Blair, if she simply extended the invitation (no begging). If he'd been permanently damaged by Blair, he couldn't turn sexual performance back on so easily & selectively.

Still continuing.. Sheashond both Todd and Tea bonded because they are both motherless children that was partly why neither of them abandoned, but it wasn't why they ultimately fell in love imho. Mentally sex tarnished and he didn't want to tarnish what Tea and he had it was something that actually made him happy despite the dysfunction and he didn't want his past mistakes to bite him again in this union, but upon their real wedding he was ready for it, but unfortunately they got cheated.

Cont.. Todd did forgive Blair for that but when he went off to Ireland got shot 4 times and was presumed by all to be dead, he faught his way back home to open the door to Blair on the floor having sex with Patrick Thornhart, who Todd took those bullets for, then Blair once again LIED to his face telling him that she was faithful while she believed he was dead and from then on he didn't even have sex with her upon his return from Ireland because in his head it was a manipulation to play him.
-
@sheashond Per Todd's story he didn't want to have sex and mess things up with Tea. Sex ruined for him, Todd was mentally screwed up after his relationship with Blair because he felt in his mind that she used her body/sex to manipulate him and make a fool out of him everytime. Todd and Blair's history is not pretty he initially married her based on a lie that she was pregnant when she wasn't she wanted to get her hands on his fortune.

I see it the opposite from edgefire. It's clear to me that Todd only loved Blair, even though he didn't want to. He respected and liked Tea because of all her wonderful qualities. He felt protected and cared for by Tea--much the way a boy does with a stable, capable, and loving mother. Tea was a mother substitute for Todd. He didn't love her as a woman or mate. Subconciously, he felt that, and that's why he never wanted to make love to her. They were a heartbreaking mismatch to me.
That makes more sense... I did rewatch it and I caught it...thanks noelgirl21 ;)

Cassie's nothing but an adulteress SLUT!!! Did Todd say "I can't believe he just said that""?? ..under his breath to Tea...did I hear that correctly?

If you watch closely, Tea just took one of Todd's pieces. Right before he says I don't lose to anybody. So I think what he said to Tea was "I can't believe you just did that" LOL :)
