@alpsalish I have no idea what the fuck you're going on about. Bodybuilding contents are another form of beauty contests with different criteria. No one is denying this. Yet you keep going on stating the painfully obvious as if it's profound.

Whether it's an "art" obviously depends on how broad your definition is. People can certainly target certain muscles in certain ways for an overall aesthetic affect. You don't like it? NO ONE CARES.

@lfields78 We can even use dancers as an example. Dancing is one platform where one benefits from maintaining muscular physique, but rarely is that a dominant characteristic. Look at dancing, historically and presently, and you will notice how rich it is in contrast to bodybuilding. I'm sorry, but you don't have a strong case. You might be very into bodybuilding, but in that case you should ask yourself what you've spent your life on...

It is a very defining characteristic of the "practice." There are few others. @alpsalish I'm not angry, it's just a really stupid and obvious thing to say. I don't really care if you don't like the look of muscular women, plenty of people don't. It's mostly an aesthetic practice, of course it's not inherently important. Presumably you hate people who go dancing as well, since "historically" moving ones body was for avoiding animals and gathering food, and the dancers are just gratifying their egos.
