I love the old school nostalgic racing. When it was all engine and thats what mattered. Now these days no one wants to build a good engine, they just throw a supercharger and think they are king of the straight line hill. Great vid!

@lastofgenxxx What I will print is fact.He drove the car,you didn't.The reason this country is going to hell is people like you. This is a great video.Shut up.Peace

@Tarten46 tell me why brand x was pissin on mopars with a certain engine and in 4 certain car's? and why in ihra/nhra brand x was more dominate then mopar? one hint TOTAL PERFORMANCE YEARS, guess what brand im talking about and learn the the real truth about what really happened!!! as for as brand x nd y using chrysler engines FALSE!!! they all use aftermarket vendors for there little nhra escapades now adays, nothing chrysler at all

@jrzy49 cobra jet's were spanking 440's stock. but this also depended on what gearing did you get with the 428 from the dealer.
-
@CVPI95 ahhh GM never dominated factory backed racing after 1963. after that is what up to the owner to do what ever he could to get his car faster than stock.
-
@Tarten46 yea they will take a beating. i hit a steel electrical box at 30 mph in my 95 vic. completely flatened it unreparable and took out the power on the whole street. half of my front bumper was gone and driver and rear driver side door were bent in. other than that i drove it home running like it never happened not a single engine noise or warning light on. iv seen other cars have to be towed away from fender benders

@CVPI95 i made a living pedaling crown vics. they do make a nice driver and they will take a serious, serious pounding. the mid-late 90's 9C1 Caprices with the LT-1 are a animal and without my boss's knowledge I installed a retuned ECU in my take home car plus a couple of minor tweaks. Several of my coworkers followed suit after they witnessed how much better they run (157mph WITH a light bar!!). Bought one of those for a dailey driver after they were decommisoned.

Nice run!

@Tarten46 yea i have a 87 caprice and a 97 crown vic police interceptor which are known for being ran hard but mine has low miles because it was a detective car its by far my favorite everyday car i love the durability, rides smooth, comfortable, and wiith just a little money into it can have easily more than average power. i dnt have the money to pour into a old muscle car but i can easily outrun most average cars new & old unless they have expensive mods but all together i only have 3000 in it

Where exactly did you purchase your rear trunk graphics if you do't mind me asking? Look awesome, would love to do something similar. Great run!
.
Damn in first video you said 830hp now its 600hp? Ive been on this stupid site all night and i now know why this country is going down the tubes everyone on here knows everything about nothing! Every video just about has bullshit on it! Dont believe? Take the time and look.

@lastofgenxxx Obviously you know nothing about nothing. The reason this country is going down the tubes is because people like you dont pay attention to detail. This Video was from the summer of 1999 and this was our old 440 engine and yes it did produce 650 hp. The other video is of the new engine and it produces around 830 hp. Get yer facts straight before you bash buddy.

@deannaber Thanx man. Im not partial to just mopars. I loved all the cars of the muscle car era. Kinda had a soft spot for the more "bread and butter " type muscle cars like 383 mopars and 390 fords and 396 chevys. One of my favs being a 1967 396 chevelle. Loved that car since I was a kid... another a 1969 Mercury Cougar Eliminator... what a bad ass alternative to the mustang!
