Inept Reviews: Fifa International Soccer (SNES)

Jings! Your inept reviewer has decided a change is in order, and has attempted to review a SNES game! This is FIFA International Soccer, the original game in EA Sports' long running series of footie games. Unlike the PC CD-ROM version I owned, there's no commentary by BBC's Tony Gubba, although to be fair it's no great loss. What you do have, however, is a very playable arcade footie game, and one that appealed to both football and non football fans alike.

Watch me take the 3 Lions footballing side on a career high, as we get destroyed by the all conquering Cameroon side. Shortly after this match, I was fired from my post as England manager, just as Steve McClaren was when his moronic leadership of the England side led to us being knocked out of the European championships before they'd even begun!

As far as I can tell, there's not a great deal between the SNES, Sega 16-bit, nor PC versions in terms of graphics. All are extremely playable, especially when it comes to multiplayer.

This was the best game ever! Did you know that the goalies are so dumb that when they go to throw the ball you can stand right in front of them and they'll throw the ball right at you and you can just kick it in? Oddly enough, that only works once, after that they seem to know that you're doing it and change throwing direction at the last minute.

Yea I remember this. Whenever I played someone there was a ban on performing that trick on the goalie. It's a totally unfair goal.

Sam's brought his Runescape buddy along. I love this quote 'ur a cunt get a life'.You decide to return after 2 weeks just to say that because presumably your life is so fulfilling you got fuck all better things to do. Haven't you got some Balamory to watch on TV or something?

Anyway, anyone posts Runescape videos and is prepared to click on rocks for 6 hours a day just so they can shout 'N00b' to someone else isn't in a position to call someone else sad. I ought to upload my review of it one day

i here show u a sad balding middle aged man. he has nothing better to do than play snes games. is it cause hes too trampy to even get a gameboy? or because hes just a sad man that likes to moan about things, fueled by the anger that his "wife" is upstairs shagging his neighbour

this was only 18 years ago, compare this to fifa 12, look how fast games are advancing. Imagine in 10 more year how it would be like
