"O-H-I-O-U!" - OU modifies OSU's chant

Ohio Bobcat fans sabotage Ohio State's "O-H-I-O" chant during "Hang On Sloopy" at the 2008 Ohio vs. Ohio State game in Columbus. The Bobcats led going into the fourth quarter, but lost to the Buckeyes 26-14.

@b33isme typical classy response from a Buckeye. the excuse that somehow OSU fans are cheering for a geographical region and not their own school is absurd and/or utterly embarrassing. who does that? And to correct a part of my previous post, OSU wasn't sued, they were the ones that filed the lawsuit. Yes, OSU sued Ohio University for copywright infringement for using the word OHIO. The balls it takes to do that is astounding. please learn the correct name of the school you are cheering for.

When I read the title, I though it was referring to the University of Oklahoma, and I thought, "Wow, when did we play Oklahoma in the 'Shoe?" Then clicked on this and saw this sad display and realized it was just Ohio University which doesn't really matter in any regards to anything and was disappointed.

Why wouldnt a school name OHIO come up with an O-H-I-O chant? You cant possibly believe yourself can you? come on now.
