In this video you see at least 13 utility-line poles that had been reduced to splinters along with some downed traffic controls or street lights. This video was taken Sunday morning on 9/11/2011 in Tucson, AZ. after a heavy monsoon storm tore through the area late Saturday night. The location is along the east bound side of Valencia Rd. between Country Club and Alvernon.

Similar damage was sustained by poles deeper in the neighborhoods to the north of this area and throughout other parts of Tucson. The damage was wide spread throughout Tucson. Overall, it was reported that 25,000 Tucson residents were without power and at one point there had been a tornado warning issued by the National Weather Service. Tornadoes are unheard of in Tucson however some residents did get pictures of funnel clouds.
