The infamous car stunt with slide whistle from the James Bond movie "The Man with the Golden Gun," redone.

I took out the "Evel Knievel" line, silenced the slide whistle, added an engine rev as it jumps, added a small wind effect (it sounded weird completely silent), slowed the jump by 20%, had to redo the car landing sound (because it had slide whistle all over it), and added the brassy James Bond theme to finish it off.

  • Okay, you win.

  • @noqa Haha, it's not a competition. So long as we all make it better than the filmmakers.

  • The wheels should be making noice while the car is flying

  • I guess I'm in the minority here, but I kinda like the slide whistle. It highlights the absurdity of it nicely, I think.

  • the sound effects really downplayed how great that was, such a shame, what an insult to stuntmen

  • @OffDWallNotDRack maybe you should've told that to ian fleming when he wrote casino royale - the movie is probably the most faithful adaptation of any of the novels that's been done to date, in terms of plot and characterisation (specifically daniel craig's performance)

  • Amazing how that whistle ruined a great stunt. I don't know why they had to have that silly whistle. Trying to get more out of the stunt? It was fine without the stupid whistle.

  • @OffDWallNotDRack You mean...Batman/Batman Returns?

  • Well yours is better if you're trying to make a modern-day Daniel Craig bond film, but I personally prefer the older 007's in all of their cheesy, campy, whimsical and charming glory. Not everything needs to be Darker. Seems like ever since Batman Begins, everyone is trying to remake everything to be all Dark and Edgy, devoid of any humor or playfulness. It worked for Batman, but lets draw the line somewhere. For God's sake they're even doing it with Snow White!

  • Needs the Evel Knievel line, but other than that, I like yours better.

  • I'm not gonna lie. Roger Moore made a terrible James Bond.
