It's about a child learning about life, its wonders and heartaches through drawing pictures in a book. Truly beautiful French lyrics and one of the best Eurovision winners ever.

Avec cette chanson j'ai découvert en 1969 cette magnifique voix
alors que tu es partie vers d'autres horizons Frida
ta voix continue d'enchanter notre quotidien pour qui veut bien s'en donner les moyens
Merveille de la technique merveille aussi de tes enregistrements
les "vinyls" trente trois tours faisait partie de mes bagages à l'époque
retrouver ces enregistrements aujourd'hui c'est un vrai bonheur
