hey Guys!!! I found a possibility to record my amp with a Shure SM 57....This is meant as a cover AND a sound Demonstration..I also made "shoot to thrill" with this amp, you can find it on my chennel
The Amp Settings are: Loudness 1: 10 ; Bass: 6 ; Middle : 5 ; Treble: 5.5 ; Pressence: 4 ; Master : 5.....I put the parallell effect mix together with a patch cable and turned the "parallell effect mix knob" all the way up. that gives some extra Bass ! {the numbers are the usual poti numbers, no Clock times or something!!!!}
..I hope you like it and you like the sound..I would be Happy about comments and Ratings! Keep Rocking!!!

  • Hey! Very very well played! Great sound! 10/10! I have a Shure SM57 too... But have some problems with it... Can't record with Pro Tools so far. What did u used from program to record with? And what from Hardware (I have an Eleven Rack, but doesn't works with it so far, works with my fathers Tascam). How did u placed our mic in front of our cab? Greetings from Belgium, Jean-Luc

    Hey! well, first I have to say, that the recording gear (sm 57, interface and software) does not belong to me..it's from the music project I play in....I know Bernd (the guy, who helped me with the recording thing) uses the software cubase 5, and a steinberg interface or something, but i could look it up next wednesday when my Band has their practice time....

    p.s.: the mic was 2 centimeters away from the cab..the amp was cranked up over half way...

    Keep Rocking!

    Lucas

  • I wonder if jumping the effect loop helps on any amp, or if it needs to be a parallel effect loop

  • i think when angus plays the solo to this song live its a bit different than on the studio version? either way it sounds great, and im getting this guitar sound i cannooot fucking wait

  • Jumping the parallel Ex Loop and a 4x12 cab make these amps hard to beat

  • You have an awesome set up

  • I want the cabs in the back ground!

  • @SoloDallasisgreat Haha rock on mate \m/
