2011 BOA Super Regional Awards Ceremony

This is the awards ceremony in St. Louis' Edward Jones Dome after the conclusion of the 2011 BOA Super Regional Finals competition.

On the field are 14 of the 56 bands which competed in the weekend event. Imagine what the field would look like with 42 additional bands down there!!!

Unfortunately, I ran out of battery in my nice camera prior to the awards ceremony; As a result, the quality on my Blackberry isn't nearly as good as I would have liked, but... At least you can hear the scores and see some grainy video of the bands on the field.

Hi Zelda, I'm so sorry about not showing the Beeechwood band!!! I honestly ran out of battery on my regular camera, so the video here is actually from my Blackberry!!! I ran out of battery because I filmed a few other bands prior to the awards ceremony.

ahhh! union tied with owasso but beat us in general effect so by technicality they won, then we beat them in state by more than a point, THEN they beat by 1/10th of a point in grand nats putting us in 7th!!

You can tell our area loves music! FOUR bands - Broken Arrow, Owasso, Jenks, and my beloved Union HS are all from the Tulsa County, OK area! Woohoo!

Oh gosh. I'm sad that you didn't show the screens on either sides! (And you didn't even show Beechwood on the tape! We were tiny and on the side, it was funny lol). Everytime a band one, everyone would shake their plumes back and forth! Pff!
